I have just moved our Exchange server to a new server using the same name. I got everything configured and working properly except OWA. I don't know how to configure this. The old exchange server was a NT server and the new one is 2K. Can anyone help me get this going or direct me to documentation on how to set it up?

Thanks in advance

My server is Exchange 5.5 running on a 2K server. Is this the same procedure?

Thanks

This isnt the same procedure, I also setup OWA on our Exchange 5.5 with W2K as the OS. Its actually pretty simple once you understand the asp part of it.

Use this for Exchange 5.5 Documentation:

Use this on deployment of OWA:

These 2 web sites are worth a million words for understanding and deploying OWA Successfully. (At least in my opinion)

Be careful about applying your security patches before and after you have installed OWA..Some security patches will screw up OWA.

Thanks, I got it working.... My next question is how do I configure it so it can be accessed from the outside world with the same address as the old exchange server? I can only now access it by //servername/exchange. The old server used gw.(company domain name).com/exchange/logon.asp for outside access. Internally we could use the same address replacing gw with mail. I think it is an IIS config I am missing but I don't know what.....

Thanks
