Exchange multisite design question

All,
We have a several sites connected by private circuit or VPN tunnels internationally, and we're slowly going to bring sites into a Win2k AD tree as we upgrade them from NT4. Each site has reasonably competent support staff, although they're sometimes prone to fiddle and thus break things. The question is, do we keep separate Exchange2000 organizations within the AD tree, or do we bring them all into a single organization? I'd welcome any recommendations, or questions which would help clarify which way to go.

This is how I would do it;

All under one organisation. Each site with its own child domain.

This will give you good administrative boudaries between sites.
