Hi All,

Our email system has been hosted by a third party for the past 3 years. I'm planning on bringing the email in house.
Question:
In regard to the mailbox, how could I move it from one domain name to the other while keeping all the users mailbox intact?
The current domain name for the third party is abc.org,
My domain name will be def.org.
Is it possible to move the mailbox to a different domain?

Also How do I setup the Alias, in order word how do I get mail that's intended for jack@abc.org to get redirected to jack@def.org.

Thanks for any help.

Since you don't mention what mailsystem the hosted one is, we cannot answer that correctly.
But, if you us PST, you can import those with exmerge.
What domain you do this for does not matter.

how to set it all up, see docs and help. It is very straightforward.

Tip, since you ask very basic questions, may I suggest you do some serious reading before you even attempt this!

Marc
