We have a Windows Small Business Server 2003 Standard installed on a server computer which had only one 33gb SCSI hardisk with two partitions on it (C and D).
Due to harddisk failure we need to restore from tape backup. All the partitions (C and D) backed up along with system state using Backup Exec 9.1
I installed 2 X 80gb SATA hard disks and Installed the Small Business Server 2003 on it.
I was not able restore system state. During restore process Backup Exec hangs . So anyway I created all users and email boxes and now we have fully configured server at hand
Now here comes the problem:
2. I need to restore the mailboxes of the each user! How can I do it? Where are they located? . I thought it was in c:\Program Files\Exchsrv\mdbdata folder. But the file sizes on this folder in backup tape are really small like 2 or 3mb which should actually be in gigs.
I was able to restore most of the user's emails from their outlook.ost file but some email account I could not.
