I think I might be out of luck here but I thought I'd at least check and see. We run Exchange 2000 on a Windows 2000 DC. I deleted and purged a mailbox and now I would like to recover it. In my settings for Backup Exec I don't have it setup to restore individual mailboxes and e-mails, just the information store itself. Is there any way to recover a single mailbox? I am not sure if he was using OWA or an outlook client.

Exchange mailbox recovery question

You can restore the IS to another Exchange server (i.e. a lab setup), then exmerge the mailbox in question out to a PST, then merge that back into your production server.
