Hello,

I am looking for a solution to connect Lotus Notes 5.? and Exchange 5.5 SP4. I have heard that the Notes Connector (Exch 5.5 SP4) is not so great as a long term co-existence solutution but better suited as a migration tool. Calendar synchronization would also be a requirement...

Does anyone have any real world experience with the connector as a co-existence solution. Any tips, guidance, or insight to configuring administering, and maintaining would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance, John

John,

We have been using the Notes Connector for over 12 months for co-existance. We are migrating to Outlook this year but it has worked fairly well for email inter-connections. We are not running the calendar connector. There are certain issues with the connector but on a whole messaging has been satisfactory. We use doclinks for Notes database workflow and regional Outlook users are then also given Notes.

As I said, we are migrating this year.

Dave

Dave,

Do you know where I can find documentation (reliable) that would describe how to enable exchange and lotus notes to coexist?

Thanks!
