Exchange IP

I am running exchange 2k. I want to change my ip on my whole Local network. I want to run a defferent subnet than the one I have. Could that affect the exchange server? I am running dhcp services from a dhcp server with exchange 2k.

1. Affecting meaning would it messup the exchange?
Note: I know it will loose network connectivity which I can fix easily by reconfiguring the ip addresses. But would it messup the exchange configuration?

Please help I'm a newbie at his!

If you update DNS and don't change the name, all clients will be fine.

I have done just this in the last few months and it went perfectly.
