Exchange install question

Hello,

I have a site with two Windows 2000 servers. One is the DC and the other I want to install MS Exchange Server 2003.

I have done the install of Exchange with no problems.

Do I have to install any exchange tools on the server that is the DC to get all the features within my Active Directory Users And Computers?

I see the added entries in the Active Directory of the DC but they are without icons, like if there were no associations with anything?
