Here is the setup:

I have an Exchange 5.5 and two Exchange 2000 servers. I migrated all mailboxes and public folders from the Exchange 5.5 server to the first Exchange 2000 server.

I removed the old Exchange 5.5 server using ADSI Edit. Now I can't get Free/Busy data. The folder must have been on the old server.

How can I create a new Free/Busy folder in Exchange 2000 or move the old over?

Per Microsoft

"Make sure that you also replicate your system folders, which include the following folders:

Schedule+ Free Busy
Offline Address Book
Organizational Forms, if present"

I guess you missed some steps!

If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, expect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

If the old 5.5 server is gone, and you never migrated the system folders, you'll need to use guidgen to recreate them. Occasionally, when you use guidgen to recreate the system folders, you still have issues with visibility of the schedule+ Freebusy folder. In that case, you have to use ADSIEdit to set the home server for it.

I've done all of that but it still is not working. A couple of items that might help:

1. It is still running in mixed mode and I can't change it to native mode, the button is gray.
2. I am getting event ID 8207 MSExchangeFBPublish error updating public folder. The virtual server is correct.
3. Do I need to remove the Active Directory Connector?

Thanks for your help...
