exchange crashing every night

Hi all nearly every morning now exchange is crashing. I have checked the database size and it is well within the size limit.

Is there a default or unstable size limit for individual mailboxes?

There are no more PDC's! There are DC's with FSMO roles!

Does it always crash at the same time?

So, what's in your system and application logs? That's the first place to look. If the sever is crashing, you should have a memory.dmp file as well. Load the dump file in windbg and do !Analyze.

What else is happening at the time the server crashes? Maintenance? Backup? Virus scan? All of the above?
