I have a BackupExec 12 media server that backs up the information store on an exchange 2007 server. I am using the Exchange agent.
The backup size is consistent with a complete backup, but the job always fails:
Backup- \\MAIL1\Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group V-79-57344-33928 - Access Denied. Cannot backup directory ?Mailbox Database and its subdirectories.
I believe this is because we have "room resources" which are mail enabled accounts that MUST be disabled for them to function. But if you can't back up a mailbox when the account is disabled, then how do I get a successful backup?
