Exchange backup with BE 8.6

Running NT4.0 with Exchange 5.5 and trying to backup with Backup Exec 8.6. Was backing up fine a week ago but started to get errors stating

The Exchange Store service is not responding. Backup set canceled.

Anyone have any idea what might be going on here?

That worked brilliantly. Never thought of restarting the Remote Agent.
