Exchange Backup Failure

I have an exchange backup failing with the following error :

/SERNT13/IS/EDB0EEFE.LOGnsrxchsv: RPC error, Unable to send

The xbsa.messages file on my client shows

_nwbsa_close_create_object_session: BSA_RC_ABORT_SYSTEM_ERROR System detected error due to savefile_fini() failure. Operation aborted

The only thing I can find on the Legato web site in reference to the above is all about SQL.

If anyone could help with this, it would be much appreciated.

This error gets reported when there is a network problem (with a bad connection port usually).
If you have a Legato support contract then they have infomration on this.
Are you using a firewall? If so, extend the range (or allow it if it isn't) of ports allowed through.
