Howdy,

I'm new to the exchange world and inherited a network that runs exchange 5.5. I'm curious to find out how to set permissions to log on to the Microsoft Exchange Administrator. It seems that only my exchange service account has the correct permissions. Even my administrator account is unable to log on, it throws an DS_E_INSUFFICIENT_ACCESS_RIGHTS error.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yep. Exchange is messed. I wanna use PostFix but my peons, users, whatever you wanna call them really like the exchange conenctivity. ARGH.

Anywho. Yea. root dministrator never had any issues - yet I do. I have the same permssions as the root admin and still I am not capable of performing somethings. Best bet - always login as Admin when using exchange. and always use the Service Account Permissions when adding yourself to various places.
