Hi, could someone please shed a little light on this situation...

2 servers, both running as Active Directory Domain Controllers. One has Exchange 2000 installed and when looking at a users account in AD Users, I can see the 'exchange tab' showing Exchange intergration into the AD.

On the other server (which is actually the primary DC) the exchange tab is not there, this means I need to do exchange admin from the exchange server only. Is this right?

install the exchange admin tools from the exchange cd on your second dc, you should then have the exchange tabs.

Sounds simple. I've checked the CD tho and cant seem to find anything that looks similar for the adminpak.msi that's on the Windows CD's

Could you tell me exactly what I'm looking for here?

Run the exchange server setup, then choose install administration tools only. I beleive you must choose custom install.

Thanks, I've done that and the extra Tab's now show up when looking at a User's details in AD.

Seems like a long way about it tho, is this normal or does it normally do this automatically?

That's what you have to do if you want to see the Exchange tabs on other DC's.

Normally, you administer your Exchange using one DC or from the Exchange server itself.

It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.
