Exchange 5.5 / Outlook 2000 multiple folder permissions?

I have a mailbox which is shared by multiple people in our organization. This mailbox has a foler within it that holds thousands of messages sorted into hundreds of folders and sub folders. How can I assign permissions to a new user without going into the properties>permissions tab for EACH AND EVERY folder???? I thought that this is where the delegate came in, but it does not appear that way...

PLEASE explain how I can get out of doing all of this work!!!
