Exchange 5.5 Oject Version /Dirsync Question

It appears that Object Version numbers above 10 does not allow changes in mailboxbox properties during Dir/Sync via cc:Mail/MS Exchange connector. When change is made in cc:Mail, nothing change in MS Exchange unless Object Version is below 10. Any clues??.. Suggestions??
