I have just installed Exchange 2000 on my network on a Win2K server. We also have an Exchange server 5.5 on Win Nt.
The Exchange 2000 server is on a Win2K domain while the Exchange 5.5 is on an NT Domain. Trusts exist between the 2 domains.
We have migrated 2 mailboxes from the 5.5 to the Exchange 2000.
These 2 mailboxes cannot send any emails to any mailbox on the Exchange 5.5 server but they can send emails to each other.
The problem seems only to exist between mailboxes of the 2 different servers.
Outlook gives out the folowwing error
" A configuration error in the e-mail system caused the message to bounce between two servers or to be forwarded between two recipients. Contact your administrator. "
