Exchange 5.5 Cluster - Lost Cluster

I have a client whose Exchange 5.5 cluster went south for the winter, summer, and who knows what. They were not very good at backing up the nodes. The Exchange data appears to be good. To resolve the cluster problem the Cluster Server was uninstalled from both nodes and then reinstalled. At this point they called me to see how to get the Exchange back into the cluster. Is there a way to do just the Node portion of the install? Exchange was installed completly on the SAN drives, so the only thing that is missing is the registry information making the cluster aware of Exchange.
