Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2000

Hello all,

I have an interesting question. I'm in an exchange 5.5 environment. It seems that at one of the remote location, an exchange 2000 site was created and suddenly this morning all the previous public folder have disappeared. Any ideas what could have cause that problem and how to resolve it?

Apprently, the new site was added this morning.

Any help will be appreciated.

To add to the previous post, there are no instances of any of the old public folder on any of the servers. In Exchange Aministrator, they don't show up under pubilc folders either.
