Exchange 5.5 - 2003 X400 Connector

Hi there,

I have an X400 connector between a Exchange 5.5 server and a Exchange 2003 server.

The link is in place and is effectively working, however messages do get stuck in the 5.5 mta on occasions and it tries to send mail to the wrong sites instead of over the X400 connector, its very annoying as I have now moved to the new server and have to keep restarting the 5.5 MTA to sort of allow mail through

For anyone who is interested I managed to fix this by changing the cost value on the site connectors to 2.

hi, can you explain how you did it?
there are Internet mail exchange in 5.5 and in 2003, which ones did you change to 2?

In exchange admin (5.5) go to each of your site connectors, double click them and just change the value to 2.
