Exchange 2k- pop3 error 12031

Hello...
I am using exchange 2000, and have a satellite location connecting to the exchange server via a web browser. When I try to connect to the exchange server, the menu bars and the folders on the side show up, but no content (e-mails) show up. It gives me an error about a minute later that says " Unknown Error 12031" Am I timing out in the exchange server? Does anybody know what this means?

It means ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_RESET. It could be the client, the server, or anything in between.

I think that my web-filter is blocking the mail, or at least making it time-out. When I go around the filter, I can connect. I am using a dansguardian and squidguard filter on a Red Hat server....I just have to find the reason it is being blocked....thanks again

Squid on Red Hat drops packets like a sieve. Guess it's time to get a real proxy.
