We have an Exchange 2k server that failed, the system drive went down with win2k and exchange 2k on it, the priv1.edb and pub1.edb files were on a seperate volume and I have access to them. I re-installed win2k, and exchange 2k. Is there any way to import the .edb files into the new installation of exchange? If not, is there a way to export the mailboxes to .pst's? like exmerge?

If you have a backup just run a restore and redirect it to that server maybe? I'm not sure if you can just copy the db files into the new exchange directory, I think there might be some lof file issues with that. 01110000

You can move only the edb and stm into blank mdbdata folders and the stores should mount. Dan

When you reinstalled Exch 2k did you apply Service pack 2 for it. IF so you cannot restore a backup from a previous version(pre-SP2)
