I am having intermittent problems where the New Mail Notification in OWA does not work. We have Exchange Server 2007, and the settings in the OWA mailbox are:
Message Options
x Play a sound when new items arrive
x Display a notification when new e-mail items arrive
Display a notification when new voice mail items arrive
Display a notification when new fax items arrive
So first two options are checked. I have seen the little box in the lower right hand corner showing the message about the person sending the message that just arrived and the subject. But it does not always show. Sometimes a new message comes into the OWA mailbox with no notification.
Is this a known problem. Is there some way to insure the new mail notification shows for every single new message.
