Exchange 2003 Shared Hosting Scenario
=========================================
Domains: DOMAIN.LOCAL, DOMAIN.COM, DOMAIN.ORG, DOMAIN.NET
Active Directory Structure:
Legend: (U) = User, (G) = Group, (OU) = Organizational Unit
DOMAIN.LOCAL (Local Domain)
|
|_____HOSTED (OU)
|
|__DOMAIN.COM (FQDN)
| |
| |_comusers@DOMAIN.com (G) (Universal Security Group)
| |_mbross@DOMAIN.com (U)
| |_jbosco@DOMAIN.com (U)
| |_rstewart@@DOMAIN.com (U)
|
|__DOMAIN.ORG (FQDN)
| |
| |_orgusers@DOMAIN.org (G) (Universal Security Group)
| |_jdark@DOMAIN.org (U)
| |_tatu@DOMAIN.org (U)
| |_pcharles@DOMAIN.org (U)
|
|__DOMAIN.NET (FQDN)
| |
| |_netusers@DOMAIN.net (G) (Universal Security Group)
| |_mmadalena@DOMAIN.net (U)
| |_gbush@DOMAIN.net (U)
| |_fsinatra@DOMAIN.net (U)
|
The Goal
========
The Goal here is to implement the above structure in place within Active Directory and have users from any of those domains to be able to login to OWA using 'Forms Base Authentication' and SSL (Certificate of Authority).
Each domain will have their own Recipient List with users belonging to that domain.
When creating a new user with one of the OU's indicated above. Only the respective domain will show on the drop down box to select.
