Trying to cure problems with an exchange 2000 server, one reported problem is that Outlook users are complaining that when they open outlook they receive loads of reminders for calendar entries that have already taken place. Some of these entries are up to a year old!
Even though they click on Dismiss to each or dismiss all they come back up the next time they open outlook.
I have run ISINTEG.EXE to check and fix errors, used ESEUTIL.EXE to defrag the databases but this problem is still happening.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

In the outlook of the user that has problems, run outlook.exe /cleanreminders or outlook.exe /clearreminders (never seem to remember which one). BTW, you have to navigate to the directory that contains outlook.exe to run it.
