Hello,

I have an Exchange 2000 Server, that cannot send email to the outside world. Our DNS and MX record is hosted by our ISP and Inbound mail flows just fine.

In order to get email to flow I had created an SMTP connector to our Europe office over VPN. The problem is the Internet Header is a little ambiguous.

Should I create a SMTP connector to my ISP, instead? If I do create this connector, how would I determine what address to use?

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you DNS Server isn't forwarding out?

You need to test with nslookup and see if you can find MX records for other domains. If not smart host to ISP. Call them and ask what IP you can use. Dan
