exchange 2000 not generating e-mail addresses automatically

Hi,

In the last few days when adding any new exchange users their e-mail addresses are not being generated automatically, we do have a Recipient Update Service for this domain and the users are allowed to inherit permissions from parent, any ideas what the problem could be. I have tried updating and rebuilding the RUS but to no avail.

I added in a new RUS and this has solved my problem, can't explain it but at least it is now working.
