We are currently installing an Exchange 2000 server into a development domain in readiness for a roll-out. We have connected to the existing 5.5 server with the ADC and have populated AD with these accounts. We then ran the Forest/Domain preps and ran the install for exchange. It gets so far then throws up the following in the log file...

Error code 0XC0070005 (5): Access is denied.
It appears that the install program is trying to use the Admin account from our old NT4 domain (we guess), but we're a bit stumped as to what to do about it.
