I am new to the Server world, so please bear with me, as I may not get all techno-jargon correct. We have Exchange Server 2000, and Small Business Server 2000.
We use Outlook 2000, WinXPpro client machines. We have a public folder phonebook on our server. We use distribution lists regularly. Since the upgrade in March to this new Server setup, we are seeing alot of errors when sending mail via lists, that we did not see before.
Here are some examples:
<mail.nysta.com #5.7.1 smtp;550 5.7.1 <xxxxx@xxxxx.net>... Relaying denied> (I x'd out the users email addy for privacy)
<nystasrv.NYSTA.Local #5.5.0 smtp;553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)>
These errors are caused when sending to the end user via a "list". If I send a test, individually, they seem to go thru fine.
I have looked everywhere for some clue as to what is going on and can't find anything. Any advice will be appreciated.
