Is there a way to setup a "Catch All" component in Exchange 2000 that can forward all non valid user emails to a particular user account? For instance,, I'd like all these emails to come to john@domain.com. go@domain.com, stop@domain.com , ladada@domain.com

Thanks in advance for any help

In Exchange System Manager go to the properties of your SMTP Virtual Server-Messages Tab - and fill in the catchall account in the "Send Copy of Non-Delivery report to"

If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, expect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

Ok thank you, that get's me a copy of the message, but won't that still deliver and undeliverable message to the original sender? If so, this doesn't quite fix my problem. Too bad you can't create a wildcard account, something like "*@domain.com" and have that forward to a live account. (Or can you?)

Not sure what you're getting at. What Marc says to do will send a copy of any undeliverable email to the account you specify.

To stop the NDR's from going back to the sender, just disable those functions on the SMTP Virtual server, which is recommended anyway.

Yes you can have a wildcard, that is exactly what I proposed will do.
Anything not recognised by Exchange will got to the account specified.
And like lander added, turn of NDR to the internet.
