Hey folks.. Lost hear and would love some insight!
Up until tonight we have been running Exchange 2000 Standard on Win 2000 server.
I have now implemented a new server, Windows 2003, and Exchange 2003 Enterprise. The install went problem free and everything seemed good.
I have now moved a few mailboxed from Exch 2000 to Exch 2003. The users that are now homed on 2003 are not able to recieve email, but can send them successfully to other users or the internet.
Noting in the event log of use. I do notice on the Exchange 2000 server in the SMTP Queue that I have a specifc SMTP connection listed for the exchange 2003 server with 44+ items listed in it. It also grows if I try to send email to a user on the exchange 2003 box.
Anythoughs?
I was under the impression that no router or connectors are required between servers in the same organization. I am at wits end and lost without direction. I would like to move some the users back to exchange 2000 but I cannot as we are very low on space on this server (exchange 2000 standard edt. 16gb limit).
Unfortunatly I am one of the users that have been migrated. I guess I should not have migrated myself first.
Many thanks in advance!
Mike
