Exchange 2000 and 2003 - discussion

Hi there

A general question I just thought I would see what peoples opinions were in respect to exchange 2000 and 2003.

I currently have 6 exchange 2000 servers within our AD 2000 forest and Im toying with the idea of upgrading to 2003. A lot of thoughts are flooding through my mind.

Firstly what if any are the benefits of upgrading, would I need to upgrade the DC servers to 2003 for optimal performance? What would happpen if the DCs were to be left as 2000? What does microsoft have planned for server/exchange 2000? Would clients work better with XP instead of 2000?

Any other issues I should be aware of?
