Excessive Log files

Hi Folks,

My Exchange 2000 server is generating a 5Mb log file every few seconds, and I'm going to run out of space fairly soon. Does anyone know why this would be happening and how I can stop it before my Exchange server nosedives?

if you are doing full backups of your exchange, databases and logs it should flush these logs once its done.

you can set exchange to delete these files and keep only the last 5MB worth of email transactions by enabling circular logging but i wouldn't recommend it.
