Excel XP crashing when using Ctrl H

Has anybody experinced a problem with Excel crashing when trying to doing a Find and Replace. It does not happen all the time but does happen the majority of the time. We are running Office XP on an Windows XP Pro with SP1.

When you use the shortcut Ctrl H (Find and Replace)a few minutes pass then the usual Windows XP error comes up saying Excel has encountered a problem and must shut down.
