Excel - Where does the email header come from and how do I hide it!

Several users have emailed a spreadsheet using Outlook, but not Exchange, and now have the Outlook mail info attached to the top of the spreadsheet. Where does this come from (i.e. - how do they avoid it?) and how do they get rid of it in the files that have it?

They need to make sure they send it as an Attachment.

They sent the sheets from Outlook using the paperclip icon in the toolbar. As far as I know there's no way to make that anything other than an attachment. ???
