Is there a way, of clicking a button on a form, which will automatically import data from an Excel spreadsheet.

The form will contain the correct fields name as the excel spreadsheet.

I do not want to import data into a table. I want to make this user friendly as possible. All i want is a button, when clicked on the form - the table/form is updated with all the data from an excel spreadsheet.

Thanks in advance

Well,,,,,, you if you don't want to import the data, then your best bet if to link the spreadsheet and use it as a table. Keep in mind that if you do this you might not be able to update the data.

No - This particular form, can contain all the data from a table called "Customers Details". so, a text box called "name" on the form, - entering in a new name will update this customers details table etc.

All i want, is a simple button, on this form, which will enable the form to update its data with the data from an excel spreadsheet. (This will obviously mean that the data in the customers details table is also updated.)

I hope u can understand what i am talking about

thanks

Has anyone got an answer to my question?

thanks in advance
