Excel Spreadsheet on Web page

I am trying to create an excel spreadsheet for a web page with functionality. What I need is a two column list box that would through event autopopulate the first two columns of the spreadsheet. Is it possible to do this? I also tried creating a cell specific listbox which I would have duplicated for the rows but when it converts to html it doesnt take the list box with it.

Any suggestions or direction?
