How secure is password protection in preventing others from accessing your code in a macro produced in Excel? Can someone with the know-how gain access to your code? What is the absolute guaranteed way to protect access to your code?

Thanks,
Tripoli

Try searching on Google for password cracking, it's a little scary

There is NO secure way of protecting your data. Worksheet/workbook protection can be bypassed in seconds with just a modicum of knowledge and a quick search of the newsgroups.

Protecting the VBA code with a password is more secure, and will prevent most peopel from getting to it, but again, there are many that can bypass this also.

If you put it into a spreadsheet, then the safest way is to consider the data as public.
