Does anyone know to a setting which may cause this:
this only started last week, worked for months no problem
If you double click on the saved excel file say c:\test.xls,
excel opens but with no open workbook, just a grey screen.
All the menus are there, but obviously, most are greyed out because there is no workbook open
If I open excel and open the files from within excel, it works fine.
If I try the files on other PC's, that works fine as well
