Anyone know how to get a fraction between 0 and 1 depending on the day of the year.<br><br>ie 1st July would be 0.5<br><br>31st Dec would be 1<br><br>1st Jan would be 0<br><br>Any help much appreciated

If Cell A1 has the date in it then the following formula seems to return the result you want (only works for year 2000 I suppose)<br><br>=(A1-36526)/365 <p>Dan Auber<br><a href=mailto
