He has Excel set to open at start up(Office 2000 and OS NT)
but when it starts up it opens 15-20 spreadsheets everytime he boots up. We changed the path to his personal drive, that didn't help. If worst comes to worst we will do an uninstall and reinstall..
Any help would be appreciated...
Thanks all,
KL

Hi, Karebear! (Which Karebear are you?)

By spreadsheets, I hope you mean 15 -20 workbooks open up. Is this consistent? Do the the workbooks have different names on them?

Go to Tools, Options, General tab and see if there is anything in the alternate startup location. Chances are there is. You would have to delete whatever is in there.

If not, look for the xlstart folder on the user's system and see if there are multitude of files there.

Please post what you find.

Thank you Thank You Thank You

Oh no I forgot...
I looked up Karebears trying to find all of their names, no luck there so I asked the guys that I work with which one I was and they all said they didn't know but they were pretty sure that there wasn't one that represented a person wit A.D.D. issues...lol
