Excel, negitave time calculation 1

Excel will not let me calculate a negitave amount of time i.e. 1:20 – 2:10 (hr:mins) I would have expected the answer box to show – 0:50 but all I get is #####. Can anyone help please.

Change to the 1904 date system, by going to tools, options and then click on the calculation tab, select the 1904 date system check box. You should then be able to do negative time.
