Excel macros stop working after moving files

We have just finished moving many users from an old W2K file server to a new W2K file server. For most users, the move has been transparent (done via GP's etc.) but some users now say their Excel Macros don't work (just some, not all). They don't include any links at all but just simple data sorting and moving from with the cells. Anyone got any ideas.
