Excel links don't work

Can some one help with a following problem. A person makes Excel file A with references to another Excel file B. File B is in a subfolder. A folder containing both File A and folder containing file b are moved to another location. (Since the files are in the same folder, links should work inthe new locations).
After this the user that made the files can use them normally, but other users (with rights to those folders) can't update the data. If they try, it will not find the right file, but some old one. If they choose not to update they, of course, have old data.
There are over hundred of these files, so the solution should be easy.

If you've moved the folder then the links are not pointing to the right place -they are still pointing to the original folder. You'll have to open the workbook and choose Edit>Links and choose the new location.
