Hi,

Is it possible to Hide the toolbar that has the Cell number and the FX box in it? It is irritating when I have cells with a lot of data b/c the FX bar will expand to show all the data. I don't want it to expand at all. Can I hide this bar completely?

Thanks!

uncheck "Formula bar"

It's not a toolbar - it is a visual option like scroll bars & worksheet tabs...

Doesn't look like a toolbar to me - doesn't have any dropdowns, doesn't have any menus.......Looks like a formula bar if you ask me...

Nah, looks like a toolbar ... dropdown for defined names, buttons to click while you are editing .... but no menus, I'll give you that [smile].

Cheers, Glenn.

All toolbars are dockable - this one is fixed position - just visible or not. To me, it is more like scroll bars - a visual aid if you want / need it - very different from a toolbar :)

It's never looked like anything I would want to turn off, so I don't care either way, I'm keeping it :)
