I have a question on one excel.
I have a cell with this formula.
=.0045+1.234
we change the number 1.234 everyday, and everytime we need to change it, we have to go up to the formula, remove the 1.234 and change it everytime, I would like to know if there is a way to just have the cell have .0045 and then I can just enter 1.234 directly to the cell.
thanks

Best thing is to put [blue] 1.234 [/color] into its own cell and use a formula for the sum:
[blue]
Code:
  =.0045+B17
[/color]

Assuming that [blue] B17 [/color] is where you will enter the [blue] 1.234 [/color]

One suggestion might be to use 3 cells.

Example:

A1 enter .0045
B1 enter 1.234
C1 enter =a1+b1

Anytime you change the value in B1, the result in C1 will update and you do not have to edit the formula each time, simply change he value in B1

Hope this helps.
