Hello,
I actually had to see this one to beleive it but it is true. After a database is run, Excel files will not open properly. If you navigate to the folder where the .xls file is you can double click on it and the Excel appication will open but the file will not, the screen just freezes. Strangely enough if you open the Excel executiable (using start menu or whatever) then navigate to the file, everything works perfectly. This happens every time a certain database is opened and stays that way until the machine is rebooted. Any insight into why this may be happening would be greately appreciated.
Thanks,
Boomer
