Excel Data Entry ??

I have four sheets in a workbook and I want to automatically move the data in column A on one sheet to Column A in the other sheets if a column in the first sheet has data in it. It's for a race entry workbook i use with all the participants names entered in column A on the first sheet and the next three sheets relating to events on specific dates. I need to automate the name moving to the correctly dated sheet if they are shown as entered in the first sheet I have three columns in the first sheet with a "Y" to show if they have entered a particular event. Some participants only enter 1 event some 2 events and some all 3 events How do I do this please ????

When you say "move the data", do you mean physically deleted from the first sheet and moved to the other three sheets?

Or doyou just want the data moved to the relevant sheet based on what people have entered, but the "master" version still remains on sheet 1?

Yes The second option! To move the data entered in sheet 1 to the other sheets based on the data in three columns in the first sheet, If that makes sense ?? ie the fisrt sheet has a name column (A) and three date columns so if there is data in one of the date columns it moves the corresponding data in the row (Column A) to the corresponding sheet ?? thanks

OK gotcha. I can construct a formula for you, but the easiest way to do this is if you can send me the spreadsheet (or an example with sample data), then I will return it straightaway with all the necessary formulas in place.

Let me know how you want to decide which data goes where and in to which sheet.
