Excel Custom Number formatting

I have a field that needs to be custom formatted as:

00 0000 0000000000 00

I've added this custom setting, but when I type the numbers, it is automatically re-formatting it (see below):

actual number
27 5430 2609526679 07

showing as:
27 5430 2609526670 00

Other numbers are doing the same. Almost like an estimate/approximation is automatically set.

Any ideas as to how to turn this off?
 
This is because Excel will only take numbers up to 15 digits. If you make it text, then all the characters will display.



[Blue]Blue[/Blue] [Dragon]

If I wasn't Blue, I would just be a Dragon...
